Today we rented kayaks at Alki Beach and went around West Seattle from the shipyards to Alki Beach. We were passed by ferries and other boats.

We saw lots of jelly fish in the water, several types of water birds including osprey. It was a fun trip.

Charlie is visiting us for the week.
Today we played 2 rounds of our 9-hole golf course, with Charlie and our golf buddy Ann. Charlie is a golf newbie, but he had the second highest score both times!

We tried out a new walk this morning from our regular around the neighborhood walk. We drove to Baaton Park about a mile from our house and walked down the bluff to Longfellow Creek and followed the creek down to Camp Long. The hike was mostly through woodsy areas and occasionally along streets.

The hike was pretty flat except for the steep bluff in the beginning and of course we had to go back up. It's a pretty steep climb and then 140 stairs up to the park at the top.
