Snowing in Seattle

It's snowing in Seattle this morning. It should end in a couple of hours. Then it gets down to 26 degrees tonight!

Golfing with Eagles

Today we played golf for the first time in several weeks. It was 45 degrees and a little wind, but it wasn't raining.

While we were playing an eagle brought a fish up from the river and proceeded to eat it at the 6th hole.

We could see the fish flopping.

After a course worker came by, the eagle took the fish up into a tree to finish. But he left fish eggs behind on the green.

Celebrating

These past few days have been stressful for us. A recent routine MRI, I had done, showed an enlarged lymph node. I had to have an ultrasound and a biopsy. So we were a little on edge waiting for the results. 5 days later the we were told the results, NEGATIVE. So we went to one of our favorite restaurants, The Palisades. We had a Pupu Tower, with steak tidbits in a luscious sauce, grilled jumbo prawns and crab cakes. That was our appetizer, then we had a wonderful dinner. The celebration was perfect.

Square Dancing at WA State 125th Birthday

We spent the day in Olympia waiting for our turn to dance at the 125th birthday party for the state of Washington. We danced in the rotunda of the capital building. Square Dancing is the state dance of Washington.

Square Dancing in Portland

We square-danced with the Portland Rosetown Ramblers for their Scares 'n Squares Fly in for Halloween. We danced all weekend. Saturday we wore our clown costumes.

Here's us dancing. (I had to take off my nose for dancing! It blocked my vision too much!)

Our friends Ken and Mark also were clowns, so we posed together.

Another awesome sunset

We have many beautiful sunsets from our living room which is one of the reasons we picked this condo.
