We left Seattle this morning with rain and temperatures in the 40s and arrived in San Diego. It's mostly cloudy today, but 15 degrees warmer and supposed to be mostly sunny the rest of our trip.
We're planning to try out some of the 3 par golf courses in the area. We found it was less expensive to bring our own golf clubs than to rent them. So we lugged two sets of golf clubs. The bags have wheels, so we were able to wrestle them around. I wouldn't want to walk too far with them, though!

Our hotel is on Shelter Island, which is really a peninsula. There's a lovely park just across the street with a foot path along the bay side. Our room looks out over the bay toward Coronado on one side and back towards San Diego on the other.
